There are more and more robo-advisors launching in Canada all the time. The CEO of ModernAdvisor, Navid Boostani, joins me to discuss his company’s offering. Of note, they claim to be the first robo-advisor to offer socially responsible investing (SRI) strategies.
We have a good discussion on whether or not socially responsible investing leaves some performance on the table compared to non-constrained portfolios, and also discuss the term “robo-advisor”. Shouldn’t we just call it “robo-investing”? When will we see the first “robo-PLANNER”?
