Got a Money Problem big or small you need Expert Help to solve? (GTA)
CASTING CALL NEW SHOW ON W NETWORK!
Are you having a debate with someone over money and can’t agree on who is right?
We might have the answer.
The Money Pit, a fun new TV series on W network, is offering access to some of the country’s best financial minds. Our panel of financial experts, led by Preet Banerjee, author of the popular blog wheredoesallmymoneygo.com, and winner of the W Network’s 2009 expert challenge, will review your situation, offer the advice you need to help resolve the issue, and render a final verdict as to who is right.
Issues such as:
Can we afford to retire and travel the world? You say yes, but your partner says no.
Should my partner and I invest in a second rental property? Your partner wants to use money from your RRSP, but you don’t think it’s worth the tax hit.
You and your friend want to open a restaurant. Your friend is the chef but you’re putting up the 70 percent of the cash. Your friend thinks the ownership should be 50/50, but you don’t agree.
If you know you need help, and are willing to be open and truthful about your finances, then we want to hear from you. For more details and to apply, please email casting2@generalpurposepictures.com

Hi Preet,
I like your blog – lots of helpful info. I often refer my clients to your site as a helpful resource.
I’m intrigued by your upcoming show (congrats by the way). I’m curious to know if you plan to have guests on your show from the financial services industry. Financial advisors like me are often criticized in the media because we make a living on commissions, and the mutual funds we sometimes recommend have higher MERs than the sexy new ETFs. It would fun and interesting for your viewers I think) to discuss with you on your show how helpful it can be for the average/ordinary Canadian investor to work with a commission-based financial advisor.
I’m a hockey Dad who loves to help ordinary Canadians get the kind of life they hope for. It’s may not be especially sexy but its not astrophysics either. And, like you, I’m turned on by making financial tools accessible and understandable to ordinary people. I’d love to chat with you about our mutual interests. Please let me know if you are interested.
Warm regards,
