It’s taken a while, but the videos are slowly being released for the interview with Peter Aceto, CEO of ING DIRECT Canada. Click here for a refresher on how this all came about, but essentially I had asked the readers of WhereDoesAllMyMoneyGo.com to come up with the questions to ask Peter. This first video is Peter’s response to the overwhelming request for information on a possible no-fee chequing account… check it out:
More to come in the next while, and I’ll post up the videos as they are sent to me (production was handled by ING). Thanks everyone!

I’ll never be CEO. I’m simply not able to not answer a question so eloquently and in almost three full minutes…

I have several very important questions….
1. Why isn’t the bank names FLING? I would be more likely to bank there if it was….
2. Mr. Aceto isn’t wearning any orange… can we be sure he is really the CEO. If I were the CEO of ING (soon to be FLING) I would be ensconced, head to toe in orange velour
3. Why is ING (soon to be FLING) headquarters shaped like a bug? http://www.galinsky.com/buildings/ing/index.htm
Honestly, Preet seems like a pretty bright guy, I am not sure why he didn’t ask the tough questions…
I’m out like working inside a bug!

I’m starting to think those ING guys might like orange.

Longtime ING Customer
It is sad to see what started as a great company with awesome customer service, spend more money on orange tents and prime spots at country-wide marathons and other city events. The customer service, including the Message Center at ING DIRECT.com has gone way down in the past few years. It takes the bite of the $$ sign to get you and then you risk everything to get more and more, while letting what you started go down the tubes. The Pres. is so focused on getting richer he is not aware that his employees treat the customers like rag dolls.
